3D Seismic Survey Designing & its impacts on Data Acquisition

PGN is intended to conduct a 2-day 3D Seismic Survey Designing workshop for students covering the following topics.

• 3D Survey Design Workflow
• Marking Geological Area of Interest
• Migration Aperture
• Edge Management
• 3D Geometries
• In-lines, Cross-lines and Bins
• 3D Template and Swath
• Geophone Array Response
• Obstruction Management
• 3D Fold and Fold Map
• Offset & Azimuth Distribution Maps

The venue and dates will be intimated soon, but preferably it will be working days (Thursday & Friday)

Eligibility Criteria: PGN student members in M.Sc (3/4 semester), BS (6/8 semester), MPhil/MS and recent students not doing any job. If the workshop is organized at QAU, Non-PGN students from QAU would also be allowed.
